Popular FAQs

uPaged nurses require a Police Check as a 'point in time' check before you can pick up jobs via uPaged; some facilities may require a more recent check to be provided. It is a mandatory requirement for working in all Australian facilities.

This will depend on the facility's requirements for how often a new police check needs to be conducted.

If there is a change in your ability to work or criminal history since your National Police Check with uPaged, you are obliged to notify:

  • AHPRA
  • All of your current employer(s)

It is then up to AHPRA to determine if this change is relevant to your practice.

If AHPRA alters or terminates your registration, they will notify uPaged and your employer(s).

Failing to notify AHPRA of a change in criminal history is a breach of your professional registration and your uPaged registration.
