Tips For A Great Rating:
  • Arrive early: Be at the facility 30 minutes before your first shift and 10 minutes early for others.
  • Introduce yourself: Meet the team leader and build rapport with a 'buddy' practitioner nearby.
  • Ask for a quick orientation: Learn key areas like emergency trolleys, toilets, and equipment rooms to save time.
  • Communicate clearly: Keep the team leader informed about your patients' conditions and movements.
  • Be punctual: Return from breaks on time, and ask about break durations if unsure.
  • Offer help: If your tasks are complete, assist others.
  • Stay organised: Keep bed spaces tidy and put away unused equipment.
  • Document thoroughly: Ensure care plans are complete, and check with regular staff if in doubt.
  • Give a solid handover: Provide a clear, detailed handover at the end of your shift.
  • Show gratitude: Thank the team leader before leaving.
  • Smile: A positive attitude leaves a lasting impression.
