Nursing and midwifery students; Nurses and midwives at any career stage considering transitioning to rural or remote practice; Nurses and midwives considering or undertaking short-term agency contracts in rural or remote areas.
It challenges common assumptions about remote area nursing, introduces helpful programs and pathways and provides the essential knowledge required to thrive in remote health practice.

Book your onboarding interview through your uPaged profile. This interview will be conducted via phone to duscuss your experience, skills and suitability for contracts.
Different contracts may have different mandatory training, vaccination and employment evidence requirements.
By clicking the “Start Application” button on your chosen contract, a virtual checklist will be generated in the My Work tab of the uPaged app, detailing the exact requirements for that contract.

Once your application check list has been fully completed, you can put your application foward.
The uPaged team will review your experience to ensure it meets the requirements of the contract before forwarding your application to the respective facilty.
After submission, uPaged will contact the relevant facility, where your experience and documentation will be reviewed to determine if you’re the best fit for the role. This process can take some time, so if you’re interested in other contracts, feel free to apply and express your interest in those as well!
Contract inclusions, such as accomodation, travel, vehicle suppply and LAFHA are subject to the contract itself.
